Mackle to introduce healthy snack food range
Ireland-based Mackle Snack Foods is developing a range of healthy snack foods in order tap the growing demand for health foods in the market.
The company is developing 'All Yours' - a range of bite-sized crispy rice clusters, with assistance from Invest Northern Ireland. The range features fruits such as cranberries and blueberries covered in yoghurt.
The new range builds on the success of the company's Mimies, an organic and lightly baked corn puff snack for children.
Managing director Joseph Mackle said that All Yours is a major product development and premium branding initiative by the company which builds on its successful experience in producing private label snacks for leading retailers across Britain and Ireland.
"All Yours is a new range designed by us to offer a healthier alternative, especially to existed syrup coated snack bars," Mackle added.
Mackle Snack Foods' existing products include bacon fries, salt and vinegar sticks and cheese puffs, in a range of bag sizes.
